Does Your Dog Have...

  • A dull or dry coat?
  • More shedding than usual?
  • Scratching that never quite settles?
  • Stiff joints, or slowing down with age?

These aren't just cosmetic — they're often the first sign your dog is missing omega-3.

Why The Usual Fixes Fall Short

  • Switching food: Expensive, and most kibble is still low in omega-3.
  • Coconut oil: Mostly saturated fat, with little of the EPA and DHA skin actually uses.
  • Cheap fish oil: Often refined and oxidized, so the omega-3 is already degraded.
  • Conditioners & sprays: Surface-only, and they wash out.

Calmi Salmon Oil works from the inside — where a healthy coat, calmer skin, and comfortable joints actually start.

What's actually in one pump

No powders, no fillers, no synthetic fish oil. Just clean salmon, cold-pressed, and the coat and movement it builds.

Fresh Norwegian salmon fillet

Pure Norwegian salmon

Sourced from cold northern waters where salmon are naturally rich in omega-3. The whole fish, not a synthetic substitute.

Golden cold-pressed salmon oil

Cold-pressed oil

Gently pressed to keep the omega-3, 6, and 9 intact, the way salmon carries them. One clean oil, nothing added.

Healthy dog with a glossy coat

Coat and movement you can see

Those omegas feed skin, coat, and joints from the inside — for softness and shine, and easier movement over the weeks.

Veterinary Insight: More Than a Shiny Coat

A dog's coat is a window into what's happening inside. Dryness, dullness, and constant scratching often trace back to a shortage of omega-3 — the fatty acids the skin barrier depends on.

Dogs can't make enough EPA and DHA (the two omega-3s that matter most) on their own. They have to come from food — and most kibble runs heavy on omega-6 and light on omega-3.

Closing that gap supports more than the coat. The same omega-3s help keep inflammation in check across the joints, heart, and immune system — which is why a clean daily source matters for whole-body health, not just appearance.

"Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) are recognized as essential nutrients in the canine diet."

— Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA)

Why Wait Until It Becomes a Vet Visit?

🏥 Treating Skin & Joint Problems
  • Repeat vet visits for itchy skin, a dull coat, or stiff joints
  • Often prescription shampoos, meds, or special diets
  • Reactive — you wait until there's a problem to fix
  • Doesn't close the omega-3 gap that started it
🐟 The Daily Salmon Oil Ritual
  • $29.90 a bottle (less than a single skin or joint vet visit)
  • One pump on their food, no fuss
  • Supports skin, coat, joints, and energy together
  • Works on the omega-3 gap before problems start
  • Most dogs treat it like a food upgrade

Daily support is easier — and gentler — than reactive treatment.

How much does my dog need?

One pump per 6.6 lbs (3 kg) of body weight, once a day on their food. Start low the first week, then settle in.

Four dog sizes from small to very large
Small
up to 22 lb / 10 kg
1–3 pumps
Medium
22–44 lb / 10–20 kg
3–7 pumps
Large
44–88 lb / 20–40 kg
7–12 pumps
Very large
88 lb+ / 40 kg+
12 pumps

Puppies: start with half the amount for their weight while their stomach settles. Never more than 12 pumps a day.

What to expect, week by week

Most owners notice it in stages, not overnight — first the coat, then the way their dog moves.

Dog at its food bowl
WEEKS 1–2

Most dogs treat it like a food upgrade and lick the bowl clean. Out of sight, the omega-3s start feeding skin, coat, and joints.

Dog resting comfortably
WEEKS 3–4

Scratching eases and the coat looks less dull. Stiffer, older dogs often seem to settle and rest more comfortably.

Close portrait of a glossy coat
WEEKS 5–8

Shedding settles and the fur softens and fills out. Around now, easier movement starts to show — more spring on walks and stairs.

Dog running outdoors
MONTHS 3+

A shiny coat, calmer skin, and comfortable, mobile joints become the everyday normal.

How much do I give my dog?

One pump per 6.6 lbs (3 kg) of body weight, once a day, straight onto their food. A small dog needs a single pump; a large dog up to twelve. Start at the lower end the first week so their stomach adjusts, then settle into the daily amount.

Will my picky dog actually eat it?

Most do, because it smells like real fish, not a supplement. Pump it over wet or dry food and stir it through. If your dog is suspicious of anything new, mix half a pump into their meal for a few days and work up from there.

Can I give it to my cat too?

Yes. The oil is pure salmon, nothing added, so it works the same way for cats. Use a smaller amount, around half a pump for an average cat, poured over their food.

How long until I see a difference?

Skin and coat changes show up over weeks, not days, because the coat grows in gradually. Most owners notice less scratching and a softer coat around weeks three to four, with the shine and reduced shedding becoming clear by weeks five to eight. Joints and energy build over a similar stretch.

How do I keep it fresh?

Keep the bottle somewhere cool and dark with the cap closed; a cupboard is fine. Fish oil turns over time once it meets air and light, so a sealed pump bottle helps it last. Use it within a couple of months of opening and give it a sniff now and then, fresh salmon oil smells like fish, not sour.

Is it safe for puppies, seniors, or sensitive dogs?

It's food, not medication, just pure salmon oil, so it suits most dogs at any age, including puppies and older dogs. Adjust the amount to their weight. If your dog has a diagnosed health condition or takes medication, check with your vet first, the same as you would before adding anything new to their bowl.
